Project Description

FPSO KNK and FPSO Prof. John Evans Atta Mills Ghana are operated by MODEC for the Tullow Oil Ghana. The FPSO Kwame Nkrumah MV21 and the FPSO Prof John Evans Atta Mills are two of the largest oil fields discovered offshore West Africa in the past 10 years. The FPSO KNK is located in the Jubilee Field and the FPSO Prof John Evans Atta Mills Ghana is located in the TEN Fields.

CPC Engineering has a great experience in gas compression processes and control systems, for this reason MODEC has requested the services of CPC Engineering for the optimization and the improvement in the performance of its gas compression and export systems from the FPSOs.

CPC Engineering Work

CPC Engineering has worked on various aspects of control and automation systems, including reviewing and designing documentation, addressing upstream instabilities, and preparing conceptual and detailed designs for system architecture and control integration.

The work also encompassed reviewing dynamic behavior such as slugging, developing and implementing control logics and hardware configurations, and conducting dynamic simulation testing to ensure system functionality and reliability without disrupting operations.
